New Grelb WCM Site: Wildlife Vets International

05th Sep 2008

Wildlife Vets International is a British registered charity which sends expert veterinary surgeons to help, train and support local people working with some of the world's most endangered animals.

A professional representation of an international organisation

Wildlife Vets International was formed in 2004 by a group of very experienced zoo and wildlife vets to deal with the issue that many conservation organisations simply do not have the funds to include veterinary support in their project plans; and those that do may struggle to find the specialist vets they really need.

In 4 short years the group have worked extremely hard to develop themselves into the unique position of being able to provide independent specialist veterinary support to any project, anywhere in the world.

Whilst the organisation have successfully used their combined veterinary experience to develop the organisation for the benefit of other vets worldwide, their web site, launched in 2006, was seriously out-of-date and didn't communicate that Wildlife Vets International was a highly successful international charity.

This is not unexpected as web design/development is not a normal part of a veterinarian's skill set but thanks to Webbed IT and Grelb WCM, which allows anyone with basic computer skills to manage a website and its content, they have been able to replace their old site with a much larger more professional presence.

You can judge for yourself if the new site is an improvement by comparing the new site with their old one.
