Each instance allows you to create a list of related articles and you configure the list title, introduction, footer, no. of articles per page etc. Web 2.0 features of this module include an RSS Feed, Visitor Comments and Social Bookmarking links. An essential module if you want to create regular new content for your site.

Directory - From £150

This website has 1 instance of the Directory module - Directory. Each instance allows you to create a directory of recommended or related organisations - think of it as an evolution of the links page. Similar in set-up to the Articles module, including Web 2.0 features, but has extra fields for organisational contact details.

Events - From £150

The Save Our School website has 1 instance of the Events module - Events Diary. Each instance allows you to create a list of events by date ascending order to show the next date first, once an event has passed it is automatically removed from the public list. Similar in set-up to the Articles module, including Web 2.0 features, but has extra field for event date.

Web Form Builder - From £75

The Hurrell Bros website has 1 instance of the Form Builder module - Contact Form. Each instance allows you to create a web form adding various field types and even specifying whether a field is required to be completed or - in the instance of an email field - if the value is valid. Other settings allow you to specify who the form details should be sent to and if the person completing the form should get a copy. All replies are also stored in the database for later retrieval.

Job Vacancies - From £150

Each instance allows you to create a list of available job vacancies. Similar in set-up to the Articles module, including Web 2.0 features, but has extra fields related to job vacancy adverts such as closing date, location, salary etc.

Petition - From £150

The Save Our School website has 1 instance of the Petition module - Petition. Each instance allows you to create a petition for visitors to sign online. Signers are asked if they want their comments to be public and if so they are displayed underneath the petition split over multiple pages when neccessary.

Quotes - £75

The Hurrell Bros website uses the Quotes module - Home Page - allowing them to show a random or fixed quote on any page of their website.

When parents heard of the proposal to close Boldon C of E Primary School - in South Tyneside - there was an instant reaction. Within days a campaign was formed and support was rallied in the local community.

Things were happening so fast with plans hatched, news breaking and rumour spreading that relying on playground chat before and after school was not enough to make sure a unified message was getting to the parents and farther reaching community.

It was suggested that a website could become the central hub for all information and furthermore the petition - which was being strongly supported locally - could be offered to a much wider audience online, allowing distant grandparents to support their grandchildren for example.

As one of the partners of Webbed IT has a daughter who goes to this school, we donated a Grelb WCM based site to help with the campaign.

The finished site was indexed by Google within a couple of weeks and has been a great success to date, especially with regards to PR. It's existence encouraged the BBC to get in touch resulting in a TV spot on the Politics Show and the online petition has attracted lots of local, national and international support.

Plans are in place to run an Email Campaign to all councillors in South Tyneside which will send an electronic copy of a report the campaigners published asking them to confirm if they support the campaign to save the school.

Hurrell Bros Ltd are already a client of ours but were running on a bespoke Web Content Management (WCM) system we had designed for them. Over the Christmas period we streamlined some of the core coding within Grelb WCM - so future development will be easier - then tested it by recreating the Hurell Bros web site.
